One comment about Ethel I. Baker Elementary

My first impression of Ethel Baker was a school that had been placed in the middle of a needing neighborhood, instead of a school with homes built around it. From the outside appearance, I had assumed that it was going to be small, and confined, but once walking through the halls at orientation, I was surprised to see how large the school was on the inside and was impressed with how much information they had to share, and how organized they were. Looking at the visual scale of Ethel Bakers Academic Performance Index, it seems to be relatively high, but at the same time they're ranked number tow out of ten, which doesn't really make sense to me.
After viewing the information above, it's amazing to see the percent of English Learning students, which is almost 50%. The one thing I found unbalance however, was the faculty ethnic background compared to student body ethic background. There are 59.4% of Latino background-based students to only 6.7% Latino background based faculty members. It's easy to see that there are not enough Latino background faculty to accommodate the Latino background students that are English learners trying to improve their speech.
